If you enjoy books by Jean Plaidy, you may enjoy books by Victoria Holt and Philippa Carr as well. They are actually by the same author, but under a different pen name and genre. I recently reviewed Madame Serpent by Jean Plaidy if you're interested in reading her books. It was pretty decent, I thought.

First of all this is not a facial image of Jesus because he didn't have long hair, remember in the word of God it talks about men not having long hair? case closed.

Just read your post on it and I agree. It left me feeling very sad, but the story is a real page-turner and the twist at the end is really something. I think I'll recommend it to my book club as one of our reads for the coming year.

Lamont, I'm not in the business of selling plants.
It's difficult to find real mistletoe in the US b/c of fear of the berries, which are toxic in large amounts.

I liked your perspective and conclusion about this book. I reviewed it a little less positively on my blog (liked the historical sections, didn't care much for the Hannah Heath character), but I have found that the book has stayed with me more than I would have expected. I believe it was the interplay among the religions that has made me reflect back on it. Thanks for putting that into words for me.
